I have had to struggle to come up with a title that would fit this image. It occurs to me that by naming the alternate titles I considered for it, the various stations of my interest in and explorations of the sprawling contexts it afforded me might become visible:

'Unprejudiced Surface',
'The Real McCoy',
'Truth to Materials',
'Every Thing is Holy',
'Jericho',
'The Emperor's New Clothes'.

I have no idea what I'm looking at here, and I think that's why I like it.

What an enigmatic and totally enticing shot. Like JPR I have no clue what this is and now feel that I need to know or die unhappy.

While an interesting texture, it fails to provide enough context or raise any questions of purpose. What are those? What is the shadow and why is it eclipsing the main subjects? The title is a little too cryptic to work.

Like the lighting, but I am perplexed on what this is??

that shadow across it really gives it a weird look. Seems like they are driven all the way through something and the top is blurry. interesting.

I'm trying to figure out what this is... regardless, it fits the minimalism mould perfectly. the fewest and most essential elements, monochromatic palette, basic shapes... I like it!
