There's a bunch of statues a man carved a long time ago on the side of the road in Palmyra and they are so cool. Unfortunatly, people have knocked off the heads and spray painted them. Such a shame that this mans work is being ruined by a bunch of punks!!

The horseman himself is pretty dark, but hey... You've been told that already a thousand times... Right? :-)

Subject could be smaller.

I had to look at this one for a minute to see the horseman but it is pretty cool now that I have figured it out. I think this shot meets the definition of minimalism very well.

The lack of detail on the statue and the overall darkness of the shot leaves little of interest for the viewer.

I would have liked to see a little more, or a little less detail in the statue. As it stands, there is just enough detail visible to be distracting. Also, the statue looks a little out of focus, but this may be a compression/resizing issue rather than a true 'focus' issue.

Looks like a great statue, but isn't lit well enough. Took me a while to figure out exactly what it is that I'm looking at.

I doon't really care for the lighting. Too dark and flat

Difficult to see what this might be. The detail in the 'object' has been lost, probably due to the camera exposing for the sky
