Nice composition, but you need to find a way to get rid of the reflections of you!

Very well captured and lit. The colors are well rendered. Bumping up.

Very well done. The lighting is nice and brings out the shine in the silver. I like the color difference in the watches. adds a tough to it. 10

Reflections, reflections.. for an advertisement, the photographer shouldnt be in it.

Nicely done, I like the way the watches are placed. I may have tweaked it a bit to have them perfectly aligned in the center, but that's a really minor detail.

I can see you! Very nice shot.

Nice idea. Need some work on lighting to eliminate the many reflections of the photographer. Can see the head and shoulder in the top half of the image, the hands and camera directly under the watch face, and the head-shoulders-torso of the photog at the bottom. A white reflector board in front of you (hole cutout for camera lens) would get rid of many of these distractions. Good luck.

I CAN SEE YOU!!! shame about the reflections, other than that nicely lit & a sharp image.

I like the images. Focus is nice and composition is good. A couple of suggestions. Shadows are somewhat distracting, would be better without them. Also, and I think this is the biggest one, The second hands really should be synchronized. It makes me think that one of the watches is running fast or slow. Not something you would want to advertise.

Very nice. If you ever have the occasion to do this again, set the hands to 10 and 2. Old stupid ad trick, but it makes the watch "smile" (I learned this in an advertising class). 7

Shadows look a bit harsh.

Great photo and ad! Masterful shots like this are so well composed that they don't need text. This tells me exactly what you're selling and it's an image builder as well. To nit pick, the reflection is a bit distracting as I can see you. But one of the most professional in the comp. Outstanding!

Your reflection detracts from an otherwise nice shot.

The colors and lighting are excellent, but the tilt makes me want to turn my head to the side.

Ooh, I see you in the reflections! Probably a big "no-no" in professional advertising. ;-) Aside that, great layout and the picture is sharp. Very nice!

Gotta be careful of reflections

nice use of the two complementary colors. The composition and lighting is missing some 'humf' in there... The white bgr migth be better if it was indeed white (without the yellowish cast on it). good luck!

Unique submission and clever in the intent.
Right watch (in the blue) is rotated a bit CCW kind of throwing off the balance.

Your reflection on all of the facets is quite distracting. There is a Current Challenge forum page on this challenge that include posts of some tutorials on light box work and talks about setting up a sheet with a hole cut for the lens...
Here's a couple links for future reference:

Good luck!

I do not like your reflection in the watches. The right watch is not straight. However they are very much in focus and the layout is very good.
