I like it. Fits the challenge description very well. I wonder, have you tried placing the subject (the padlock) a bit higher up, more like 1/3 of the way down from the top? ~8

the color almost looks fake, yet it is pleasing to my eye. The thing that bothers me is that it crosses the middle of the image. 6

The contrast of the old blackened padlock on the poorly painted door brings the eye nicely to the subject.

Love this image. The red is a little on the pink side for me but this is compensated for by strong composition. Wish thouse drips weren't there! 9 from me - good luck!
