cute :) i think it would have felt more minimalistic if it weren't for the foliage in the water. |

I don't think the stuff in the water adds much to the shot. I would try a crop with it out (yes, I know this wouldn't be good for the challenge, but the duckling would still be pretty small :) |

Cute. The shot might have benefited from a bit more (or some if you didn't use it) fill flash to bring up the light on the duckie's face. |

Such a cute duck. I love the detail in the fur. The plants on top are kind of distracting, a harsher crop should have been used to remove much of them. |

very cute subject...maybe cropping out the debris behind him might not have been a bad idea |

You must have had bread to get it to swim toward you, right? Great shot. |

Have you tried cropping out some of that mucky seaweed? It might have helped the picture draw your eye to the duck more. |

Very cute! IMO the image would be more effective if the duck was completely isolated - ie no evidence of the shallow bottom. A tighter crop at the top of the frame may improve this (but may have risked low marks for subject size in this particular challange). |

Hey, that's not a _rubber_ duck! Well captured, everything looks nice and sharp. The composition might be improved by isolating the duckling more, getting it away from some of the weeds and perhaps using a more extreme placement in the frame. |

Nice composition, the water is wonderfully smooth and I like how you have captured the duck coming towards you – that doesn’t happen often. As a suggestion, a slightly lower viewpoint of the duck, while still capturing the weeds behind him would have made this photo stand out even more. |

IMO - If you had cropped so that the duck was in the upper left corner I think this would have been very good. - 5 |

Generally, I hate "Duck Pictures", cus everyone does them. This one is actually quite nice. Capturing the plantlife in the background, and the ripples in the water make this an interesting image to view. Nicely done <7> |
