the moon could use some sharpening... i've found the best way to get a clear shot of the moon is to use a telescope

The moon is not tack sharp but it does not have to in this type of composition. Bumping up.

The gradiation from the moon to the pure black is a bit obvious and grainy. I don't have a clue how you could fix that. The moon could be sharper, perhaps?

Yeah - the moon keeps cropping up in DPC challenges, it very rarely does well. I can't see this being an exception, sorry
