I like the contrast. This is one of those rare occasions where the light might not have been harsh enough. I think that sharper edges on the shadows would have enhanced the effect.

A great study in contrast. Elegant simplicity. Clean processing, sharp and focused. The shadow is a bit strong and that's the only recommendation I would suggest...a bit more diffuse lighting. Well done. 7

I would like to have this mug it is great. This picture is very promising but the line between the black and white spaces are cutting some point out of the picture, To have the background totally white would have worked better for me.

The bright white of the table is a little harsh on the eyes, but the overall effect of white and black probably couldn't be done without that happening. Nice concept. Something bothers me about the framing, but I'm not quite sure what, like the cup should either be closer to one side or at the center, but I can't say exactly why.

I have looked at this item for some time. I like it but somehow I think I would have given it an 9 instead of the 8 I gave it. Just something about the height and angle that detracts for me. But still a very nice photo.

Very nice concept! Too bad that you appear to be blown out on the inside of the cup and just in front of it. Also, the handle IMHO should be on the other side of the image (in the white) as it tends to dissapear into the background. Most original I've seen so far though.
