Nice colors but I feel this doesn't meet the challenge.

Even if I considered hunger/desire for food to be a mood, this is still a stretch. The composition would have been stronger without the sink, coffee mug and whatever that brown thing in the bottom corner is.

Overexposed IMHO.

a little boxed in, with the border going DIRECTLY around the bowl, perhaps a tighter or looser crop.

great colors... the red pops out... i dont see an immediate mood, but for me that is not a problem because i can sense one... nice shot

Nice colours and a good setup.

A little too over-exposed. Needed a couple of stops lower and/or more diffuse lighting. A sheet over the window, for example. Also, IMO, this has nothing to do with showing a subject's mood.

Doesn't set a mood for me.

This makes me hungry! I wouldn't mind seeing a sliced tomato.

Good ideal but the lighting is a little harsh to me. IMO which does not mean much. I would try to shoot this with out the bowl and try the tomatoes laying in the greens on the cutting board or something. Good luck. 4

mine, too. and I don't even like tomatoes. I wonder if having one's mouth water constitutes a mood or an emotion. The emotion of... desire?

Although I don̢۪t say this is a bad picture I have scored this low.
Low in my book is not extremely low, but I guess there will be other people thinking the same way I do who don̢۪t leave a comment.
Don̢۪t take this the wrong way, this is my own opinion, and I am trying to let you understand what some voters may think.

In my opinion this does not meet the challenge, the description of the challenge: Take a picture that captures an emotion.
I looked hard, but I don̢۪t see an emotion. This could be my fault, but that̢۪s the reason why I voted lower as I would normaly do.

i feel sorry for you......i mean, some grass and a few tomatoes....just doesn't seem to be enough to make my mouth water.

The light is a little harsh, maybe darken the picture a little. Nice vibrant colors though.
