| to be completely honest i dont get nervous at all from the photo. i see the bird more as the predator than a prey. |

taken from the POV of the rodent the raptor is about to consume?
Sky is a bit distractingly noisy, and the shot is a little too contrasty. |

Although I don̢۪t say this is a bad picture I have scored this low.
Low in my book is not extremely low, but I guess there will be other people thinking the same way I do who don̢۪t leave a comment.
Don̢۪t take this the wrong way, this is my own opinion, and I am trying to let you understand what some voters may think.
In my opinion this does not meet the challenge, the description of the challenge: Take a picture that captures an emotion.
I looked hard, but I don̢۪t see an emotion. This could be my fault, but that̢۪s the reason why I voted lower as I would normaly do.

| too bad he's not looking the other way. I think it would work better with the negative space to the right. |

| Nice hawk and decent use of rile of thirds. Sky appears to be a bit mottled. Could be smoothed with selective application of gaussian blur. Focus is on the soft side and you may want to sharpen it a bit more. |
