 My granddaughter has the most amazing face and expressful when she is talking. Since I take many pictures of her she stops paying attention and one can get her natural moods clearly.

Auto levels, contrast and color, darkened a bit, more contrast, hue/saturation, sharpened and burned a bit.

If you bring her away from the background, you can lose that annoying shadow.

Great expression, good crop.
I would like to see what she is disturbed by
and it is too washed out from the flash. A little contrast and saturation bump in any photo program would probably do the job. Good luck!

perhaps too harsh of lighting for my liking. Nice idea to have the subject off the image tho.

a great expression but flash tends to make photo flat and harsh .... alternate lightening from direction of "do not touch object" would have given more depth
amd interest to photo IMO

A good showing of a mood, however, the photograph suffers from a few elements.
1. It is rather noisy
2. Color is flat and uninspiring
3. focus is a touch soft in the eyes and upper facial area.
4. Contrast seems harsher than it is because of the flat color.

Flash lighting is a bit harsh here, not keen on the square crop.

Nice expression, but the lighting is very harsh with heavy shadows. Try moving her away from the background and use some reflectors to get light in around her.
