My wifes's idea! Her monkey usually sits on the bookshelves looking at her with an inane grin on its face! So she suggested I put it playing the piano and grinning! Will probably bomb as I know that these kind of photos usually do, but at it was fun doing it and this is what this site should really be about, no?

Artificial light in the basement with a custom white balance and long exposure at f29. Curves, dodge amd burn (especially the reflection), Neat Image, resize, USM, save.

Amuzing. Makes me smile like the stuffed tow in the piano reflection.

The use of a stuffed animal makes it feel as though there was relatively little effort involved in creating this image. I like the reflection of his face in the piano.

A bit too silly for my taste. Colour balance seems a little off. Not really creating a mood for me.

too bad the puppet's head has been cropped off; plus, doesn't really tell me pride and joy...

Although I don̢۪t say this is a bad picture I have scored this low.
Low in my book is not extremely low, but I guess there will be other people thinking the same way I do who don̢۪t leave a comment.
Don̢۪t take this the wrong way, this is my own opinion, and I am trying to let you understand what some voters may think.

In my opinion this does not meet the challenge, the description of the challenge: Take a picture that captures an emotion.
I looked hard, but I don̢۪t see an emotion. This could be my fault, but that̢۪s the reason why I voted lower as I would normaly do.
