My cat Chubbs has always been a great picture for me and he has a whole lot of different attitudes and facial expressions.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate all the comments and they are helpful. I agree this photo was too soft and should have been sharper. My bad but I learned.

Definitely a mood amongst many cats!!! I'm not sure if it's because of the soft texture of the cat hair....but there are parts around the edges of the cat that look a little out of focus. This is a very tight crop, almost portrait style...I wonder if we might have more to look at if the crop was a little less tight. Good job being there at the right moment :-) My cat gives me this look 5 times a day!

What a great cat, I think it has some more important business to attend to, LOL. Nice shot!

Very cool composition that favors the cat's look on his face

That cat definitely looks a little perturbed. A nice shot. Focus is off, and there isn't a lot of detail in the fur. More light directly on the subject would have helped a lot, and shooting against a bright background with a dark subject is inviting trouble.

A little more DOF and this is a a 10. What a classic look! Nice composition too, the crop works for me. (That look is probably why I don't have a cat.)

I've seen this look before. Only a cat can do it this way.

I get this look alot! The cat really seems to be "saying" I really can't be bothered by your silliness...very cool.

Great composoition. And what better way to convey the emotion you are conveying here than through a sleepy, rather bored looking cat! Perfect!

good snapshot, too soft though: couldn't make out where the focus point is

I feel this photo would benefit from a little sharpening to bring up the our left side. Well captured

Although I don̢۪t say this is a bad picture I have scored this low.
Low in my book is not extremely low, but I guess there will be other people thinking the same way I do who don̢۪t leave a comment.
Don̢۪t take this the wrong way, this is my own opinion, and I am trying to let you understand what some voters may think.

In my opinion this does not meet the challenge, the description of the challenge: Take a picture that captures an emotion.
I looked hard, but I don̢۪t see an emotion. This could be my fault, but that̢۪s the reason why I voted lower as I would normaly do.

I can almost hear the cat saying that too.
