 Got my buddy to pace me with his car. I strapped the tripod and camera to my car the same way I did for the my other night car shot. I knew his car would be shaky because of the length of the exposure. There was really no way around it. Either his car would look a little shaky or i wouldn't get the long lines from the lights. So I went with this. This kind of shot works great in light to create fast looking movement but the shutter only needs to be open for a fraction of a sec and then the car looks fine, no shake unless you took the shot over a bump or something. It will be real interesting to see how this one is voted on compaired to the other one. I am guessing I will get many complaints that the car is too shaky, but hey what ya gonna do.

Nice angle! Good composition. I wish that the car were just slightly more in focus or a little more sharp. But the colors and the lights look great!

I actually like the blurrines of the second car. I know that it is next to impossible to take a long exposure of a car from another disconnected moving car, but the amount of sharpness looks perfect to me.

This is excellent, slight blur yet the edges of the car still look pretty crisp.

Wow, I would REALLY have liked this shot though if the car had been sharp... I know this would have been hard to pull off though. Perhaps a really powerful flash and an understanding driver could have helped.

Nice shot, but I think a way to really improve it would be to keep the car in focus and have the rest blurry.

The presence of the care mostly in focus makes this much more interesting than the other long-exposure blur shots I've seen. It's a pity you couldn't actually get the care all the way clean. The colors on the lights are really interesting as well, particularly the yellow fading to orange.
