Somewhat on topic, composition could be worse, has (arguably) unintended ambiguities, lighting mediocre (to problematic). No life in this one (that I can find).

Nice idea.

The classic needs refill! I would have liked to see these drapped around a neck with a black dress. As is the picture is too busy. Good idea for a novel shot of patriotic colors

very but I would have croped some of the background

The cluttered background makes this seem more like you walked by the dresser and took a quick snapshot than tried to set up a photograph. The beads could have been a good color topic but they need to be placed on something like an all black background and probably shot closer.

the picture frame and other background items are distracting. I know it's meant to be a "life" shot - like someone 'lives' here, but everything is cut off and it's visually distracting from the shot. Technically - I think there's not enough light, and the left side is much more blurry than it should be.

background cluttered and not very interesting.. I do not think the 'wood' desk is appropriate.

Why are these the true color's???

The colors on the beads are very nice. However, I don't see the relevance to the objects in the background, and would have eliminated them.

like the nice intense colors f those beads. It's kinda like a patriotic Mardi Gras! I am a little distracted by the white object in the right background...

Nice subject. I think a backdrop of some kind would help get rid of the background elements. the bottle, picture frame and I'm guessing ceramic ornament don't really contribute to this. The lighting is a little dark too, but it brings out the red white and blue well.

Nice image and very creative idea as well. Good job.

good job, nice photo.

Aha blue, red and white, your colors? American of French? Nice shot, I like how you have the pearls in different sizes. The blue pearls seem to have taken all the focus leaving the red ones a little blurred, maybe you could have used a higher f/stop number to get everything in focus.

i love the sentiment, but the black thing in the background is distracting, maybe more or less of it.
04/07/2003 07:46:01 PM
Me too! But you should have arranged them so there's less background stuff in the picture.
04/07/2003 05:01:25 PM
Too much pointless background stuff happening...

Background to busy, and the composition is bad. sorry.
