 Sculpture by Mark Usher Roberts, the subject of my "people" entry.

Straight image was leveled for shadow/highlight balance, cropped slightly on bottom and left, and minor cloning was applied top center were light dome met rear wall of reefer.

Fievel's Gothic Glow was then applied, variously blended layers using hue/saturation, gaussian blur, sharpening and selective color.

A new layer was made and Flaming Pear's "vitriol" filter was applied with many tweaks; the layer was then set to "saturation" blending mode and faded to 76% or so.

Finally, history brush was used to clean up some un-wanted chroma shifts, the image flattened, resized, and border was added.

Saved for web.

Off the wall workflow for me, to say the least. 'Twas fun...

I'm very disappointed to see this shot so far down the ranks! I scored it a 9. Great shot! And excellent post processing! (btw, I thought it was a potatoe, not a rock, haha)

Wow! What fun this image is! The colors are pure joy! Curious to learn about the object made from horseshoes--hope to see that in your notes after the challenge. Top score!

I love this! Awesome colors, completely wacky, completely wonderful, TOTALLY CREATIVE!....sorry...I'll stop screaming now but this really stands out...apparently alot of people having really boring dreams....glad to see that some else really stepped up to the plate with this challenge, an incredible oppurtunity to do something completely fun....technically, I think it's fine, just a really cool image.

Thank you. It's about time we saw something truly bizarre that seems to be a recreation of someone's actual dream rather than something just dreamlike. This is brilliant and extremely interesting.

woah! that's really dream like, and VERY funny. tha't probably the most messed up refrigerator I've ever seen.
