| This is quite cool. Perhaps there is a bit too much going on in it though. The layered elements dilute one another, so the overall impact isn't strong. |

| What works so well for me here is that the fingers are being used as kind of a proxy radius for the drawn circle, so it really is the hand of pi. Nice work! The ring distracts me a bit, as I can't see a clear connection to pi (though there is a connection to the finger!). The illumated pi on the back of the hand is a nice touch; I like how it is over exposed, giving it an unearthly feel. The image as a whole confuses me only slightly, since the image doesn't really convince me that a hand is the best communication of pi, though it seems to be a natural one. Does that make sense? Anyway, very nice work. High marks from me. |

| Good composition and idea. I guessed you shone some light through a cutout "pi" symbol on a board or something right? Well done, you did a good job. |

| Very good idea. I think maybe the lighting of the pi sign on the hand is a little harsh. It really doesn't stand out as a pi sign because the light is "run" together. |

| Really interesting idea although I can't figure out how you did it. The rest of the picture seems a little underexposed, but perhaps that was done intentionally. |

| This is the first pic I have ever commented on, I recently found this site. Just wanted to say the pic caught my eye because I can't figure out how you did it. I like the b/w. It is sorta simple, sorta not. Anyway, I like it. |

| nice fine drawing of scale for Pi, good focus on the hand and ring, and the shadow of Pi on your hand is really different. |
