Thought this would sweep blue (not that the ribbon winners aren't all great images). This one just shows such a VISION and artistic sensitivity that it blows me away. |

This image scored more 10's than any other in the challenge. 24 votes of 4 or less kept it from ribboning. I'd presume this is a reaction against the fact that it's a male nude, and possibly that it has overtones of Christian symbolism (Christ and the Shroud?). IMO it's an exceptionally strong image (one of my 10's) and, at least from an artictic POV, the best entry in the challenge. Congrats on your 4th! |

Great lighting. The 5 works, but it's kind of a bad theme for a nude. But it's still so well done, it's one of my top picks for the challenge. Good luck. |

Well done, I like it. It's different and it fits the challenge. I like the lighting, the idea and the model. My only complaint is that his right elbow is a bit too far back. 7 |

superb idea and I believe you could have improved on the tonal contrasts on the body. Maybe more burning or even opt for a b+w picture - I'm thinking of Pedro's 'disturbed' or Heida's pregnant person picture (the name escapes me). But I really envy the idea behind the shot. Congrats. |

Five would have done just fine for the title which is the only thing I do not like about this. The image gets a 10. Great ligting and set up. My favorite so far. |

Excellent photo: Balanced, detailed, excellent cropping, perfect angle, focus between subject and background is striking, glare in the whites is handled nicely, no sharpening effect issues, sizing is just right and has a great feel to it. |

I didn't see this at first....all I saw was a nekkid guy! I figured it out once I got to looking. Excellent 'different' take on this. I'm afraid you may get some bad voting just because your showing some skin even though it is done very tastefully and with great imagination. |

funny title, great image and idea. there's a slight fold issue for the background cloth on the lower left, as well as a dark patch on the right shoulder blade. My eyes are also noticing a bit of patchiness on the left hand/arm, as well as a hint of overdodge (reddish tones) along the curve of the left arm. it's an 8 for me, but would have rated higher without the aforementioned nitpicks. |

Artistic, intriguing, accurate (the angle of the top sweep of the 5 and the curve of the lower bell are just perfect), beautifully executed with very subtle use of light and shadow (particularly the way in which the top of his head disappears into shadow in order to leave the curve intact). A real winner for me. |
