The faded, old photograph feel works well here. I think that a little less brightness and perhaps some scratches on the image would have enhanced the presentation. The hot spot on the bottom of the apple is a little distracting. The knees bending in the wrong direction is a nice touch, but I can't help but think that I ought to see your arms (or whatever they've become) lying about somewhere. As a surreal photograph this is fairly good. You're on your own for the interpretation of this dream though. |

Would've thought your dreams involved eyes rather than apples.... |

Very interesting indeed!!! And very creative :-) Certainly sounds like a lot of strange dreams that I've had. It's a bit too noisy for my tastes. I think that a little bit of noise does add to the dreamlike quality of the photo, but in my opinion I would like to see a little less. VERY interesting subject. Nice to have something unusual to look at :-) |

A really strange dream indeed. I like the treatment, it gives it a feeling almost like a publicity shot for a psychological horror film. |

great bizaree abstract image. I wish there was better blacks tho, perhaps you were trying to to make it more dreamlike, but i still miss the full range of grey's |

I can relate to this... If I had to find something wrong I would say the top is cropped a little close to the border, but this is an interesting presentation, well composed. Color treatment gets Kuddos! |

Wow... Nevermind what we think... Get a shrink to figure that one out! But I like it a lot. I love this form of art using doll parts in weird sculptures. I have a taste for the macabre. I just wish it wouldn't be so gray tough. Good luck! |

Would have been a great entry for surrealism. Very unsure about the brigthness and contrast, but I do like the content and its portrayal. |

This is Billy Bonkers from Madtown. You are a very disturbed individual and should seek profesional help immediately if you see children with apples for heads and legs on backwards in your dreams. Ask your boss for a few days off! Great unique shot standing high in the submissions. I think the greying treatment you have applied will hurt what should have been a very high scoring shot. |

Great use of creativity for this challenge. Knees bending backwards! Apple head. Cool shot. |

The surreallism here is beautifully interpreted. Technically, it could use a bit more contrast and slightly better lights & darks. That's nit picking though for this splendidly imaginative image. |

Yes thot would have to be one of those dreams you have after a two week bender on some ackward narcotic. Very strange. I like the grainy look you added to this photo but I think you may have used just a tad to much. As I look at this my mind keeps repeating WTF? Great job!! fits the challenge very nicely. |

that's pretty strange. Its very surreal, but I think that the noise/scratches may be just a bit overodone |

wtg -- I need to see more like this. dreams are wild and crazy and a lot of the others were starting to look like they could go in any challenge. You capitalized on the topic! |
