There is too much detail visiable for this to be considered a sillhouette. This is a great example of back lighting though. |

Love the shot. It's not a strong silhouette, but if it were, it wouldn't be much of a flower. So, given the subject matter, I think this is the best you could do. |

This is a great backlit scene, well spotted, the exposure and the composition are good. The fence is a good contrast to the natural flower. I think however that because the fence is black that most voters may consider this not a silhouette... |

nicely backlit, but not silhouetted enough for me. |

I like the backlighting showing through the flower, it's pretty, but for silhouette, which is the topic, there shouldn't be any visible detail in the subject, it should be completely dark. |

Very nice image, however, I am struggling with the main object not being a Silhouette, as there is far too much detail in the flower. <5> |

Gorgeouos composition. But I am sure many people would have commented already that this is not a silhouette so far as silhouette definition is concerned (for the flower) BUT, the silhoutte of the fencing is fine. Bumping. |

too much detail for a silhouette, so low score. sorry. Nice flower photo though. |

Interesting variation on the theme. I was expecting to see all black silhouettes and I'm pleased to see an infusion of color that still fits the challenge. This could possibly benefit from a tighter crop, maybe a little off the top & bottom. You've captured beautiful texture and detail in the petals. |

Too much detail, meter the backround, increase two stops and try it again. |
