I really liked this photo! Gave it 10. Well done for your first submission! Should have done better in the comp, in my opinion. Well done and I look forward to seeing more of your photography in future!

| The soft focus combined with the read, green and yellow of the leaves and fence give this a surrealist "Stepford Wives" look. Nice cropping of the fence angled to the upper right corner. |

| Hmmmm... Almost looks like a studio shot (Which is a compliment). Nice use of blur here, nice lines both from the fence and the shadows it casts, draws me into the picture.. 8 |

Very nice scene and I think a good example of soft focus. The colors are very nice. I do see the connection with the challenge, but it's one of the longer stretches (IMO) (How about if a leaf or two were falling in the frame?)

Hummm. Is it Fall there? Odd time of year for oak leaves on the ground....? Still it's nice and I like the colors. Why the soft filter? Not that I dislike it-I do like it.
