Wow...I am so surprised to see this one finish so low. This was my personal favorite in this challenge. As I look at the scoring I see my 10 was one of only 4. Not very high marks and I am so surprised. It's a wonderful image. A lot better than those top 3 animal pics, in my opinion...! |

I don't miss college at all....The color on the wall is absolutely gorgeous as is the light and lack there of. Really nicely done. |

Simple, effective shot. The central composition is a little deadening but I like the richness of colour in the wall. |

I like this... I wonder if some people are going to complain that you can see too much for it to be a silhouette... but I think it is perfect! In terms of cropping, I think it might have been nice if you had cropped in quite a bit - I like the way the light highlights the books names and I feel you didn't need the computer in the photo perhaps, or the window above? A tighter crop (quite a bit off the left and the top) - might have been extremely effective and put more emphasis on the books, and also helped to uncenter the boy (self portrait?) either way. Nice job! With a crop would have been a 10 but I'm giving an 8 (because it also bothers me that it is tilting slightly) |

I remember that feeling all too well!
The frame in the top of the photo is a little distracting for me, but I like everything else about the shot, especially the back wall. |

Terrific job. I think that cropping out the window frame would have kept your focus on you and the subjects on the desk. Still a 9. |

VERY NICE ! I love the colors, and the lighting. This will finish very high! Great job. <9>
Okay, now that they are sorted, it's clear, there are none better! Bumping this up a notch. <10> |

I would have cropped out the window and a little on the right to simplify. The wall texture and color are rich and kinetic, really nice! |

it's a really nice photot, the only distracting thing is the window frame - would be better without it (cloning?) or at least straightening it out. |
