Easily one of my favorite images of the last month... This was two minutes in the car from where I was staying, so I actually went out there 3 different mornings and took about 100 shots each morning, which is pretty unusual for me.
Thanks for all the comments... this building is th Belmont County courthouse, the same building that I used for the triangles and the late night challenges. |

This is a beautiful and moody image. Interesting color and use of noise reduction (NeatImage?) software. The clarity and framing with the trees is very well done.
This would take some effort but you could make this a perfect shot by cleaning up the haloing around the silhouette of the building and trees. That task can be made very easy by first selecting black to include trees and building, reversing the selection and using the clone tool to remove the bright halo within the selection. Nothing will bleed over into the sihouette itself. You will not have to be as careful as you otherwise would have to be. Congrats on a great capture. |
