Did he catch any? Very, very nice photo, I like the soft light of sunset on the water

I like the contrast between the two subjects. However, because this is only a silhouette, the close placement of the two people makes it unclear what their relative position is and they seem to blend together. If possible, I would have had them move farther apart or move the camera to a different angle to increase the separation.

One of my top three photos for this challenge. I love the composition - it's just great the way the red thing on the fishing pole pulls your eyes into that portion of the photo. I like the gentle orange of the sunset, the companionship, the fact that the companion (child? spouse?) is tired after a long day. Just lovely. 10

Well done and nicely captured image. I am finding that I prefer the silhouttes that still provide a little detail and colour in the subject as yours clearly does. Very effective result. Good Luck.

I like the moment that this is portraying. I love to fish and this just seems to capture the excitement of the possible catch while contrasted with how relaxing fishing can be.

Someone looks bored. :)
Nice silhouette and color, but I would like to have seen their feet in the scene. I see that the fence gets in the way, perhaps a slightly different position and lens setting would have done the trick. Good luck.
