Thanks for the comments, few but what could I expect with this picture :)?
Those who did not read the book, maybe did not get much of the meaning... the book talks about symbols and how religions use those symbols in their interest... behind symbols there are ideas: So, the picture shows Christian's crux breaking the David's star because Catholic church was interested in a male God rather than a female/male dual God represented by David's star ("it shows a balance between masculinity and femininity, the upward pointing triangle being symbolic of man and the downward pointing triangle being symbolic of woman.")

Interesting composition. I do find the embroidery to be a distraction to the subject matter. |
