 this shot is right off the camera! except for alittle cropping, I guess the night/fog/ice/headlights-of-my-car combo wreaked havok on the white balance. I thought it was cool, so it stayed.

I really appreciate all the comments on the photo. I tried this pic a couple different ways, less blue, no blue, more contast, less contrast, level adjustments, but I just kept coming back to the original, can't beat that!

Like the composition a lot and what you did with the blue color...just believe it to be too saturated for my tastes...but will still give you a high rating for this photo.

NIce leading circle, and lovely tones. Makes me want to say "Ooooooo." In fact, I did say that, and my wife said, "Who are you talking to?" Perfect lighting for this shot. 10

Nice pic. A little too blue. Maybe black & white to bring out the detail of the trees. Good job though.

Very cool effect and I really like the color tone of this photo. The reflections in the pond/swamp are really eerie and make this shot. NIce job

spooky picture.. very neat. I love the dark fog and the washed out images. Good composition too with just the edge of the lake, creating a true abyss to the left.

i can't help imagining two jedi knights facing off with lightsabers glowing ready in the near distance, but that's just my fantasizing. i like the mood of the scene - delicate and serene as a slumbering babe, not even a ripple daring to disturb the quiet. forgive my 'poetry'. it's a great picture.

Misty weather, wow. When I saw the thumbnail I thought this was an underwater shot. I like the way the left side of the image dissolves into fog, great effect, well done.

Vewwwy vewwy blueeeeee. (no kidding) Ok - uh...I don't like that I have trouble making out the details. I do like the mood...I don't see the reason for about half of the left hand 1/3 of the pic.

this is very nice. i like the bridge in the faint background and the blue tint does a lot to make it look like night. maybe it was late evening. That bridge really makes the picture.

This looks like it's straight from a movie poster or book cover for some spooky tale. I love the feel and the blue cast to it. In my top 10 this week. -danny

The blue enhances the density and mood very well, but perhaps obscures the realness a bit too much.

Wish there was SLIGHTLY more contrast.. Think that would make this a total "WOW" photo.. It's an awesome foggy pic, but I think just a bit too muddy. Nice.. 8!

The composition is great, but I love the mood of this photograph. The varying shades of blue sets the tone, but the fog just adds a whole dreamy atmosphere. It's almost like a scene from a fairy tale. Excellent shot.
