 Sunset near of Dortmund. Brrrrr... cold, only 4°Celsius. Hope the ventilator could blow away the black clouds...

I corrected the perspective in PS. Then to increase the 3D modeling of clouds, I apply a High-pass sharpening R=50pix in a separate layer with 50% intensisty. At least S-curve to increase contrast. That's all.

You are right! it's better if I had cropped the trees and foreground.

Nice Starburst. Good Framing. I'm not sure about the placement of the windmill. I would have to see it from different angles to be sure. The Sky looks wonderful, except at the right edge, it seems too dark.

There's a lot of things I like in this shot - the 'beams' on the sun (how do you do that?!), the impression of motion on the turbine (or is that just me?!) and the dramatic clouds.
The only thing I don't like is the clump of trees on the right, I would crop those off.

Beautiful capture of the sun showing the bursts of light surrounding it. I like the positioning of the windmill. The problem is, there is a lot of wasted space here. I think some cropping could really do this photo a lot of justice by putting more emphasis on the drama.

Beautiful! I can't remember the last time we ever got a sunset like this. And yes, I am envious of you! Well you made the most of it and took a very classy photo. You captured the sun's rays perfectly there, amazing!
