Love the starkness of this but I think a tighter crop and less grainy feel would have improved it. good luck |

All of the different limbs make it difficult to focus on the main subject |

The strange angle is very intriguing. It seems like the bird should be falling backwards off the branch. I'm guessing you cropped down alot, but with the b/w and the artifacts that became more apparent, it adds to the mystique of the shot for me. I'm also guessing from the title, the artisticness of this shot was perhaps unintended. Looking at it more closely, perhaps I'm completely wrong and you just added a plastic type filter and then upped the contrast? Regardless of the intention I do enjoy it. |

It appears to me that you have overprocessed this to get the feeling of a silhouette without having a silhouette to begin with. I could be wrong. It's just my gut feeling about it.

This look like it was overprocessed. Background looks very pixilated. I also think the picture is too busy. |

Nice subject here, and good composition. Focus is soft and the light background appears smudgy. The effect of those two items detract significantly. |

I would love this to just be a little sharper, but that doesn't spoil a nice composition |

Nice capture. It seems to much into the realm of negative space due to lack of detail in the white areas. There also seems to be noise in the white areas as well. This would feel better with more variation in the greys. 7 |
