Shucks I realy thought this one would ribbon. This was by far my favorite of the challenge. Well congrats on what is still a very respectable score.

Ostrich egg? Fantastically cool idea, you've exposed it perfectly to create that sense of motion with the sand...a bit like running water.

This is original and good...simple use of what I believe is an ostrich egg to hold sand, instead of water. I like the tonal quality of the picture and the movement of the sand.

The use of negative space here is incredible. I think if you'd used a little more light to enable you to use a faster shutter speed, the fallling and bouncing grains would've been more pronounced. I still think its one of the most creative here.

I like this a lot. I like the composition, I love the motion of the sand, the muted tones and hues, and I think the simple framing works well. A nice photo.
