For some reason, seeing the texture of the man's hands really adds to this shot in my opinion. |

the only thing i didnt like was the salt looked a litle over exposed so you couldnt distinguish the grains from each outher |

not sure how you did the contrast / b/w treatment, but it works well here. |

Great detail and composition. I am a sucker for a good B&W, and this is a great one! One of my top ten for the week. |

I love shots that actually say something to me. That man is holding a precious gift bestowed upon humanity. Well composed and a nice juxtaposition of flesh and salt. The only improvement I can imagine is having the background further away from the DOF. |

Interesting b&w. I like what you've done with the color of the hands...very rough and worn looking. Salt is a little over exposed. This should do pretty well. |

The white of the salt is too harsh for my liking. Otherwise a great shot with a nice contrast between the dark ?dirty? hands and the crystals. |

love the graininess of this photo, the fact that you can see his fingerprints and the lines of his hands. Very nicely done |

The center of the salt pile seems to wash out. I would like this better if it had the same sense of rich detail as the hands. |

Very nice contrast. I have some bets with people standing next to me that your the same guy that did the grain in the palm in the minimalism challenge. PM me if you're him! |

I like this shot a lot, but I feel the texture on the hands it a tad oversharpened and the salt is blown out (at least on my monitor). |
