 Taken inside Blanchard Springs Caverns, which is surely one of most beautifully decorated caves ever opened to the public. Many may not see the connection to the challenge, and I expect it may not score well as result. But in my mind it meets the challenge to a tee. ("...or the effects weather can have on the environment.") Besides, we had no weather in this state to speak of all week... nothing but blue skies!

real pretty! the colors and shadows (not to mention the cavern's good looks) make this a truly cool pic! the silhouette in the front kinda spoils it a little, though... i would've liked it better if it weren't there or if it had a little detail but dark, of course.

This is certainly intriguing. Love the details of textures and the incredibly vivid splashes of colors that are accentuated all the more by the prevailing darkness. Would have cropped off more of the top, it is a little too dark and non-descript there. 8 Journey

Fantastic idea, and really good interpretation of weather (I read elements based on this shot). I would have liked it sharpened though. Great colours.

This isn't really weather but I can see what you mean. I like this image, the composition is excellent and the red/yellow colors add a lot of impact, very good!

Having toured many caverns before, I know that a flash is not allowed. I'm highly impressed about your ability to capture the colors and detail in such limited lighting. Nice!

I like the silhouette at the bottom. Intially the uppermost section seemed a little dark, but it kind of grew on me. I probably would have cropped the top some to put more emphasis on the wonderful colors. Nicely captured.
