 The inspiration behind the shot was a decision that everyone has to make, "What gear?" Seems like I'm always in 5th gear LOL!

This was a regular shot. I shot it in B and W, and with a small effect of "softner." I used a small lining for the frame for uniqueness in place of the regular frame. I did a lot of imaging and bright and contrast adjusting. I resized the pic for the web and that was it.

A stock image that in some ways transcends into art. Good exposure on a tough subject and the finishing touches of the border also add to the image.

This said, approaching from a stock perspective, black, leather, shift, knob, gears, metal all come to mind, but without the catchy title this image would not lead me to a keyword use of decision. I cannot place this in the ranks of those that have told me that story. I can only offer a 4 for fine technicals, interest and art, but nothing for challenge.

good idea. would like to see sharper focus however. i wont mark you down for this nor request dq, but i think that's an illegal frame

I don't feel that the image conveys instantly recognizable decision. I see a gear shift. Nice photo.
