I like the colors in this shot. I think that's really the best part for me. I like how the horses stand out on the green background and that the background has a little bit of extra color to make it more interesting, but not overwhelming.
I think what i might have preferred here would be a vertical crop. With the horses heads still in the center of the photo, but only showing the front leg and the heads. I guess I'm nto really sure about this. maybe I'd have to see it to determine if it made the comp better in my opinion, but it's just a thought.
Focus and clarity look really good as well.
Overall the image is very nice, adorable and fitting for the challenge.

One of four 10s from me in this highly competitive challenge. Beautiful and strangely emotive image! The lush green of the backdrop it perfect and the centered composition of the heads works in this case. Terrific shot, I sincerely hope you ribbon :)

| Very cute!! Good clarity and detail. I'm not sure, but it may be neat to experiment with different ways of cropping this image. The heads of the horses are almost perfectly centered. Beautiful colors in this shot! And what an adorable moment to capture :-) 9 |

| Great picture, I have been photographing foals lately and I know how difficult it can be to get their fur right. Well done. I who love cropping would have cropped it more close and leave the little "thingie" out of the picture and more of the legs. |

| This is very cute. The three dominant colours of the photo bring it to life. The shades of brown look spectacular. The photo looks a little centered though. |
