Very nice picture I won't change nothing in this shot not like Spurs but what do I know. The top of the picture is the Sand bar(South Beach) which it broke off from North Beach in 1987. |

This has nice line quality to it also, diagonals, north shore line both sides of the inlet and the path. Complimentary lines, nice points on the fences, those in the foreground and the first inlet north side, where the water and sand meet and the small rolling hills along the horizon.
Things that I think, I would change...the sky has no really points of interest and the little eye distraction at the top left. Colors are fair but that's all in your taste.
This is my first real critique and I need to practice on someone and I thought you would take it better :-)

pretty pretty! There is enough pieces of fencing scattered her & there that makes you look for more. Perfect light! |

Beautiful light raking across the scene, perfect conditions - the interplay of light and shadow is beautiful. Nice use of lines throughout the image to keep the eye moving throughout the photograph. Nice, harmonious mix of both warm and cool colors. Excellent placement of horizon, too, as the sky is rather boring while the land is extremely interesting. Great shot. |

Perfectly framed scene. Amazing how the eye moves around in it, following the fence lines and the curves of the tidal pools. And the light can't be beat! |

This shot really exemplifies the catching of a mood from a time of day adn perfection of light that is great- because it is not a blatant and overt as a sunset. Its really a documentary or action piece because your eye can't rest because of the water and the color of the pools.
Maybe its just the crop or focal length. Anyway, this is really nice and accomplishes a great deal. Certainly serene. (that sounds like an adult urinary protection product, sorry)
