Very difficult to find the subject. Higher contrast might have pulled him out of the background.

Nice composition and an interesting subject. In my opinion, the background is just too busy... it seriously detracts from the shot.

looks almost camoflaged! Too bad he wasn't sitting with his back to some colourful flowers!

You captured the subject in a good pose, but it is too bad the background reduces the subject's visibility.

good job

Camouflage at work: the bird is rather hard to distinguish from the background. The shot alos seems a little overexposed.

This picture is so busy that it's hard to look at. It's hard to seperate the main subject from the background and I think it would have been better if you were able to isolate the bird from the background, maybe with a more narrow DOF.

well camouflagd - great shot

Your subject is camaflaged. A change in vantage point to get a background that complements your subject would probably have helped.

i think you need some more contrast the bird blends into the background too much,

It's so hard to capture animals in their natural environment without the photo getting overwhelmed with distracting elements. In this case you also have the added burden of picking an animal close in colour to the habitat, tricky subject. You made a good go of it, I think a tighter crop would have helped.

perhaps a bit to well Camouflaged ?

This bird, unfortunately, gets lost in the foilage. Narrowing your focus would blurr out some of the background. The lighting seems a bit harsh.

For survival reason's the colors of the bird blend in well with his environment. That also makes him harder to photograph. It would have helped a great deal if you had been able to throw the background totally out of focus. This would also made the picture less busy.As it is, part of his head disappears into the background. 5 Journey
