I took this when I was on vacation, trying to find a good location to frame something in nature... not exactly to the letter of the challenge, but we'll see...
Cropped, cloned out one girl, added borders, adjusted levels, USM, and saved for web.

I thought about cloning out that branch, but decided against it (major element)

This photo has the potential to be a really awesome photograph. I love how the greenery frames the shot of the building, however I would prefer to see the central focus (the building) more in focus than the outside of the shot. I think it fits the challenge perfectly. The only other thing I would do is maybe adjust your curves and levels a bit to give it the "pow" that would really make this shot magical. I look forward to seeing more shots from you.

Really nice image, but I question the use of the green in your border. It takes away from an otherwise excellent image. Good Work.

This is a beautiful image and it certainly meets the challenge. It is well saturated and quite sharp. I like the use of colors but I find the shed/shack in the foreground to be quite unappealing. Good luck

A very nice scenic view, although I'd perhaps prefer to see the centre of the frame a little sharper.

oh dear - a wonderfully lovely image spoiled by an extra border. Your foliage does an excellent job of framing the scene, the green border is unnecessary.

This is a nice photo that meets the challenge. I would have left out the extra framing you have done as it was framed beautifully by itself. The extra framing actually distracts.

Realy nice. You could sell this as a postcard (if it was the right shape of course!). Well done!

Very nice picture, it's funny thinking that last week I was driving on the "Autoroute des Laurentides" coming back home and trying to find a good subject for this challenge. This is the kind of picture I was looking for. Good luck.

I have noticed several photos with frames "borders" added to them. Although yours is naturally framed, I do not understand why you would add a frame to the natural one. I find it takes away from your natural one.

Great framing!! I love this one, the reds and blues mix well with the green leaves.

I really like the framing, but the green border is a little weird.

This digitally created frame just distracts me from the real natural frame....

ok...let me begin by saying that i never say this because I know how annoying it is, but your border completely ruins your beautiful photograph. I learned to ski there by the way. :)

I would have just left it with the leaves as the frame...the green border you added takes away from the image...

Nicely framed even though the dof could be a little better and showing the lake more would have been magical..
