I see the knife and a white dot, and if I look really closely the hint of forehead wrinkles

Yes I see the eye and eyebrow and forehead (including crease). Skin is very dark gray.

All I see is the knife.

Missed this the first time....only see it if I stand on my office desk and look down at my LCD screen at a shallow angle. [No-one is surprised by my behaviour here anymore!]. Makes it a lot more intersting a picture than the weapons nut shot I thought it was!!! ;-)

I like this except for the fact that the knife is too prominent, and I had to really search for the face in the darkness, the reflection on eye is good.

Exceptional take on the challenge topic. Don't know how it was achieved but it works very well.

The only technical fault is that the structure on which the eye is apparently superimposed has that oversharpened, fuzzy look common on digital images.

I like the composition. A bit more detail in the eye socket area would have been nice.

The white dot is distracting to me.

pretty scary pic. Would be nice to see a bit more contrast between the blade and the face. Hard to see the face behind the knife (I know that is kind of the point but really kind of too hard).

A little too dark in the end product. I almost did not see the face, just the white dot in the eye, till I tilted my laptop monitor screen to lighten the image above normal. Good composition and expression.

I would like this more if I could see the eye more clearly.

Great shot. I wasn't sure what you were trying to do until I looked at it a bit harder and saw the face in the background. Good luck!

too grainy or overly sharpened? cant really make out what is the subject and meaning. I'm too naive.
