New York City is know for its highrises. Because of the amount of highrises some streets never meet the sunlight and are always in "compleet darkness". When walking down these streets on a nice summer day one can always look up and see the bright canopy; wishing you were on top of a building to enjoy the sunlight.

meeting the subject matter is a stretch in this case IMHO.
