I have come back to this image a few times now. I know it must mean something to you or you would not have submitted it. But I am sorry, I just don't see your 'darkness' in it. Perhaps I am missing something. I passed on voting on this one since I don't think it fair to ding you for something I cannot see/interpret in my head. Not on a challenge such as this one. Good luck!

I would like to know the story about this image.....I do see the person but couldn't tell you what that person is doing....I like the colors and nondiscript masses.

Well. I can't tell what this is. Looks like maybe a flash picture taken of a window with a person on the other side. It's just not a very good picture. Sorry.

I'm sorry, but this does not speak to me on any levels as a photo.

Perhaps a bit too much post processing? Large sections of the picture are washed out in the lime green and don't actually add to the picture.

I'm afraid that I have a real problem trying to connect this image to the challenge description. The photo is interesting and engaging. It makes me want to see who the person is behind the flash.

going for the brown ribbon? Blur i expected in this challenge - but overexposure?

Abstracts, particularly where the the effects are photographic and not "real" generally do not do well with DPC voters and it will show on a very low score for this image.

To the casual viewer it looks more like the shutter was tripped by mistake and that it would nomally be a throw away image.

I'm afraid this shot won't do very well. There's simply not much interest to it IMO. Good luck.

There may be an audience for this type of image, but I'm sorry, it doesn't do anything for me, especially for the context of this challenge.

Way too overblown lighting obscures the subject and any detail in the background. 2

Not sure about this. The hot flash is very distracting.

i like the lower half of this image but the washed out green portion in the top upper left hand side is too distracting from some of the neat detais (keyboard, belt).

really bright picture....its a darkness challenge right?
