Thank you everybody for your reviews!

Thing is that I never intended to take the best shot on my model, I didn't even bothered to respect any rule for getting smthing great. It was simply a piece of my mood then. That was all.

Thank you and good luck!

Greetings from the Critique Club.

The first thing I thought when I saw this picture was "out of focus". This picture had potential but I really think the lack of sharp focus killed it.
I like the composition but it bothers me a bit that part of the left eye is cropped off at the top of the picture. I think it's good that you tried to fill the frame with your subject.
If you have any questions or comments about this critique, please feel free to PM me.

Out of focus shots rarely make the grade

Close cropped composition is OK and the idea fits the challenge well. B&W is a good choice of expression for this image.

There are several technical issues that will hurt it in voting.

The first is focus. You probably made the child's face soft focused on purpose but it will not work for most viewers. They will feel it is just poorly focused and not "get it". The small amount of background visible appears in clearer focus than the model and that acts as a major distraction in this composition. You will have to come up with a different way to convey the idea of dreaming.

The contrast is very low in this image. Just apply an autocantrast and you will probably see a positive change. This image needs to have the black point set to give it better tonal range and contrast.

Looks like intended soft focus. It is clear you wanted the face in shadows, but the contrast between the white of the lower eye and the dark pupil around it look odd. Also the crop is either not tight enough, or too tight, depending on how close or far away you want to be.

to dream you need to be asleep :-) and to day dream it needs to be day ;-)

use of light is correct for darkness, but there's no feeling in this image other than perhaps the slightly lost look in the eyes, but i'm not feeling the crop or any depth in this shot.

capture quality is poor, and I'm not sure how the dark look in her eyes works with the tile to potray 'darkness'. 3
