 It was a pretty incredible night the storms were immense. Believe it or not, we didn't get the rain, this storm imparticular hovered over a nearby city, and I sat there clicking until I got it right. No tripod, and no tricks, I just clicked when I saw the lightning. If anybody knows an easier way, I would love to know.

water in photos appeals to some people. lightning shots appeal to me. good job.

I do like the idea of using lightning, but the rest of this image is so grainy and the foreground is so dark that it creates problems. Maybe if you cropped the iamge right below the line between the trees and the sky it would be a more powerful image.

Congrats on the lightnening shot! The foreground of the photo loses its detail, and being able to see just a bit of it weakens the effect IMO. I would have liked to see either all dark in the foreground, or greater detail.
