last minute bump to 9. How'd I miss this the first time voting? Beautiful! Looks like an angel almost. Blue background works exceptionally well. Flash used? Great action capture - not at all easy!

Perfect capture of a great pose and with great detail too. Shame about the blowout resulting in loss of detail on the bird's body but still a great image. Nice blurred background too and like the gradiation of dark to light there. 8

There are a few blown out highlights on the bird and in my opninion just a little too much contrast wich makes the colours a bit odd but good DOF and composition.

Another good stop motion pic. Good balance, just enough room at the bottom of the frame for him to dive into. Great blue background. Excellent detail in the wing feathers.

Super composotion. Highlights are blown under the wing, on top of neck and below black skullcap. I also find that the colours (dark blue and green) are a bit over the top. They are just too vivid in this case. I would have also fixed that grey smudge near the right edge of the photograph.

Very nice. Althought I love the action and composition, it's the background I think is most beautiful. I like the way how its' seperated with different the colours and how the top part is reserved for the bird.
