| Gave this an 8 as I think that you have successfully conveyed to me the bird and its enviroment as it should be the flash is a little harsh but you have good detail in the plumage . |

| the on board flash completely blasting this bird with light makes this look like a snapshot. The harsh shadows, and the "busy" background make the composition visually noisy. I hope this helps you understand why you are getting lower scores. |

| Hey this looks like my old bird, is this a Moluccan? I had to get rid of mine due to the squealing he used to do...drove me INSANE! I think a little more depth of field would make the background less obtrusive but still a good sharp image. Good luck. |

| Beautiful bird, but this is not a very interesting photo. Looks kind of like a quick snap shot, without much thought put into it. The background takes away from the shot IMO. |

| Obviously a really beautiful bird but the surroundings are not favorable to show him off here, another angle would have been better perhaps.. |
