This is really nice, good catch. The only thing that would make it technically better- change your horizon. Looking at the bird bill and it's reflection, the horizon is tilted. Also it should not be directly half-way from the top/bottom, but a little off. Hope that helps, othewise lovely! 8

i like how you have captured determination in his face...most likely from getting ready to take off. I wish you would have been able to call this pick "Determined" and gotten away with it on this site. Actually "Determined to catch that fish" might have worked. the focus is a bit soft, the colors are a bit washed out. i'm not a big fan of those vertical reflections. i would have tried to focus on the face somehow-5

The focus on the bird's head is a bit soft. A catchlight in the eyes would have made his face stand out more. I really like the reflection in the water.
