Very cute. Wish it all was in a little sharper focus. Looks like a flash was used so it was taken when it was darker. you can use a flash during the day also - give you light in those hard to reach places like inside a birdhouse. Good luck in the challenge!

Hey, this would have been great for the "Naturally Framed" Challenge. Nice focus on the bird.

i see some wild possibilities for this composition. Mostly involving getting real close to the hole...but that wouldn't be very cool for mom with the flash. so it leaves a bit to be desired. the artifacts around the bird are tough. the perch is uncomfortably out of focus and the excrement is a bit unsightly-4

Nice idea. Howeverthe bird house is too bright. I would have darkend this in editing so that more focus was on the bird than the outside of the house.

The lines in the bird house look nice and horizontal, good job on that! It looks as though the bird inside the house has maybe been oversharpened a bit. I think this was likely a difficult shot to get to focus the way you would have liked. The colors look good and the lighting is good as well. I like the composition.

A closer crop would have been ideal
