Since my newly discovered appreciation for blur, I absolutely love it! I love those soft blues and the way the duck looks so dreamy. I love the reflection.
But they were pretty unmerciful on this weren't they :( I wonder if it would score differently now, since lately it seems alot more acceptalbe -- even trendy -- to use blur in photography. There's even an article about it in Outdoor Photography this month.
I'd give it exceptional marks!!!

I could tell by the comments you were out on a limb with most of them. Ho well I think this is very well done. |

Yeah, I guess blur doesn't go over well in challenges around here :-) But it is perfect for this side challenge! I love the pale blue color and the swirling motion of the water, it is very pretty! |

This is a dreamy composition with charm. Bumping up. |

I honestly don't care for the blur effect in this image. It overpowers the subject. My taste, so take it for what its worth. Good luck in the challenge! |

This isnt the greatest image in the challenge, I dfeel that it may be under rated by voters who don't realise its beauty 9 |

Like the motion blurring here, nice feel, but not so keen on centred composition. |

It takes courage to enter something like this at DPC, so I wish you the best of luck. |

The softness just doesnt do it for me. Of course that is my perspective. I would have liked to see the original. |

I like the cropping choice adn the framing. I would enjoy seeing this shot without the blur. Nice shot. Good luck. |

I am not one of those that automatically mark down an image for not being tack sharp and in focus, I normally like these kind of shots but this one doesn´t really do anything for me. I mean no offense but it just needs to be more interesting to work, some kind of motion going on or something else than the duck just sitting there. Also the composition is a bit too centered for my taste. Good job though and I like the idea, just not the execution this time, by all means keep up the experimentation. |

I love the effect however compositionally I feel that the duck is a little too central. |
