Yeah, that's the idea, or maybe Poe's raven. I only got part of the bird partly because he was not very cooperative about sitting still, and I wanted to use one in-focus : )

I'm not too fond of the crop. There might be too much in frame which draws attention that is out of focus which is hard on my eyes.

Interesting idea, but it doesn't completely work. Maybe see the whole bird? Have the antenna fill more of the frame? Keep it away from the bird? I do like the focus and the black vs blue.

Not bad at all but the backround is a bit distracting at best and since the bird is completely black the backround draws more attention than the bird itself, at least in my opinion.

I like the perspective. He shows up well against the blue sky. I like the light hitting the top of his beak. Nice!
