Thanks you all for your comments. I will use a deflector next time.
I think that is what it is called. This horse really isn't a pet. Some of these horses are used for just breading. They will train them to be good with people but they mainly bread for selling. |

| why someone would request a DQ here is beyond me.. great exposure levels.. that is a BLUE sky! good shot angle and subject placement as well,,, tone down the contrast a bit to get rid of some shadow on the horse |

| This is a beautiful shot. The lighting is perfect and so is the focusl. I love the clouds in the backgound. You were very lucky. The colors are brilliant. If possible, it might have been nice to get up a little closer to the horse and be on the same level as he. |

| Thats a great shot! Not sure if it fits the callenge exactly, but that horse looks pretty wild. Great exposure, although the clouds almost look fake in the background especially off into the horizon. |

| I love the sky in this one. Very beautiful. The composition is great. Did you zoom in one this one. The hill behind the horse seems a little squished making the image feel slightly flat. The colors and everything are beautiful and I like it a lot. |

| The colors are striking, the composition is good, and the subject is well selected. It's a shame about the barbed wire, in my opinion, but this is still a great picture. |
