yeah, well...i kinda used darkness literally to cover the content of the pot at first glance. a dark storm in a dark pot. thanks for all your comments/criticism.

First I went "Ewe!" Then I went, "Huh?" Then I went, "Oh." It definitely made me look ... Going for different isn't always a bad thing, but this was just weird. :)

PS ... Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's just water, right? Turning it to greyscale makes it look gooey, but the drips down the side of the pot tells me it's just water. ??? :)

i'm gonna give it an 8 because it made me stop and examine it trying to figure what the hell is in that pot.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Perhaps it is the snapshot-like perspective... perhaps it is the large amount of noise in it... perhaps it is the weak tonal quality and/or overexposed surface on the right... perhaps it is the concept itself... but if you combine all of that it is hard to imagine reviewer's giving this image a very good score. Sorry. If it means anything to you, I gave it a 10.

I know the images are supposed to be in a random order, but this directly followed the shark aquarium photo! So now I'm in a more chuckly mood, which will affect my emotional response to the photo. I'll gve this a 5 for now, as the capture is good, and it sort of meets the challenge.

Very funny (what IS that goo? looks like it would be hard to clean), but not hugely interesting visually.

maybe you shouldnt have made it grayscale. i cant see any details or anything interesting INSIDE the pot, which i think is the main subjec in the photo?
