| The focus here is a bit soft to me in general. The plant is interesting, and I think you caught it at a nice angle. Almost looks like celery. The lighting is maybe just a pinch too dark. I wonder if just a bit more lighting would have helped to increase the sharpness of this photo. Overall an interesting plant though. ~Heather~ |

The composition of this is interesting. It draws your eyes to the base of the palm. However, what they find there doesn't seem to be worth it, to me! If it was a closer shot of the stem alone, maybe the textures and colours would be more interesting.
Also, I'm not sure if you used a tripod, because the focus seems a bit soft. Try one next time, it'll help. |
