Challenge: Fantasy World (Advanced Editing IV)
Camera: Sony DSC-F828
Location: Home
Date: Jun 17, 2005
Aperture: F/2.2
ISO: 64
Shutter: 1/160 sec.
Galleries: Emotive, Persuasive
Date Uploaded: Jun 17, 2005

Used Negative Art feature and the picture is almost straight from the camera. Only some contrast and saturation. Have a feeling this will not do well but I got the idea immediately when I saw Fantasy as a challenge.

A unique take on this challenge and very artistic. I think the reason it works is the many different colors and textures in the image.

At first look I wondered. At second I noticed the stuffies or dolls. I think the colors are great, but not sure about the rest of the crowd. Hope you had fun shooting it, it looks it! Nice shot!

I'm sure it's a nice photo, but I have to admit my personal aversion to inverted photos. Not sure why, but rather than thinking "oh what an interesting set of colors", my mind immediately says "oh, it's inverted". Nicely framed, though.

I don't prefer the effect here. This appears way to busy for everything to fall into place together. The clashing patterns of her blouse and skirt against that busy background hurt my eyes. The little thing hiding behind her hand is interesting, but we can't really see it. Looks like maybe a stuffed bird?

I take my hat off to you for trying these effects on this site. That said, the execution is too busy and cluttered for me. It's hard to make things out. Points for trying, though!

Some will like this, others will hate it. Unfortunately I'm one of the latter, sorry.

Love the patterns and colors in reverse. Fun idea.
